Peter Mehrberg - Managing Partner

Peter Mehrberg is Managing Partner of Pacific Community Management, an affiliate of Pacific Community Ventures (PCV). Mr. Mehrberg serves on the boards of several PCV portfolio companies, including Galaxy Desserts, New Leaf Paper and Bentek. Prior to joining PCV, Mr. Mehrberg held a variety of operating and legal positions in retail, consumer product and real estate investment companies.

Mr. Mehrberg was a key member of the Peet's Coffee & Tea, Inc. senior management team for eleven years, where he served as Vice President, Business Development & General Counsel. Mr. Mehrberg was instrumental in growing Peet's from a small privately held regional coffee roaster and retailer to a publicly-traded national multi-channel coffee company. Mr. Mehrberg also served as an Executive Vice president with the Catalina Restaurant Group, Inc. an owner, operator and franchisor of 220+ restaurants located in 8 states. In addition, Mr. Mehrberg served as a director of Best Cellars, a small New York based wine retailer (acquired by the A & P [NYSE: GAP], a large East Coast grocery chain). Most recently, Mr. Mehrberg was the senior acquisitions executive with HomeFed Corporation, a publicly traded real estate investment and development company.

Mr. Mehrberg received his A.B. in International Relations from Cornell University in 1980, and his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Michigan in 1983.
